Would it be good to put my dog on a raw food diet? Or is it bad?
My dog is able to stand a 16 lb Bichon Frize and kg to about 3 lose. He scratches himself often, and it is not fleas or something. He is on Orijen kibble (I think the best kibble out there.) I have a lot of BARF and RAW-feeding and had heard a lot of reading about him on sites like rawlearning.com and everything, but everyone did good or bad experience with them?
I know your question is a little older, but I did today and it was so I will add what I can. What kind of Nutro is he? It could be an allergic reaction base on the meat in the food. Maybe a different base, such as a chicken meat, if you try to fish basis using current or vice versa. Losing weight is about the height. Not the quality. I have raw food for about a year and a half. I thought I would try my latest addition on the TOTW (taste of the Wild) decided, however, in the long-haul flights, it would be easier to put him on raw materials, like all my others are, and it turnns cheaper way. I have also fed beaver before canning, since I still have never found it rude and imagine the price would be outrageous. Raw runs on research. If you're really interested in research and for your dogs well-being are, you will have the information for you just like everyone else, given that feed raw research. Whatever you decide to go, go slowly each kibble for you. If you and your dog is raw materials for one years or older, you can fast for 24 hours before feeding raw or go go directly in commodities. Whatever you go on, give a minimum of 12 weeks to work. Raw give your dog a detoxification and if you keep it and you do your research You can avoid many problems of detoxification and see what happens afterwards, detox. I do not tend to the raw / barf discuss difference. In any case, They feed on a diet, your dog can thrive not only survive.
