Switching picky eater cats a raw food diet.?
I wanted to try my cats to raw food. If you want to comment on whether raw is great or terrible that's fine, but it's not what I ask. My cats, especially female, are terribly picky. Has anyone had success Switching picky cats eat raw food? If so, how did you manage that? Any other tips? Nodry: This is a great idea by the two foods side by side … I was not that one before, what a great idea. Update one: the man is easy to eat parts of mixed wet and raw, is the female to lick her wet Part of the crude from the right of a part onto a plate. That is progress. Thanks all for your input.
I is not done yet, but I do within the next few months be here with my cat. The key, especially with picky, is patience. One or more of your cats will probably turn up their noses to change this diet, but if you insist, they will eventually join. Some cats adapt to a diet changed immediately. Others take a while. Some take a long time. Given the Fact that raw meat is a bit long for cats instinctively, it is a diet that she will not come just to enjoy, but the demand in time. If your cat have on a wet-food diet already, the transition will be much easier. Give the new food in small portions and see how they react. Should one or more refuse to eat at all, a mixture of a small part of the same part of their current life. If they still Balk, put both parts together on a plate, but not mixed to touch or. Then in the next few days, move them closer together and eventually merge. Let's adjust the mix for two or three days, then begins decreasing the amount of old food and increasing the new. My cat went from a completely dry-food diet to a diet recently canned. He became addicted in just one meal, even although he picky about dry food. I hope that if I will go to the point, to get crude out of cans, he quickly and adapt. Good luck with the transition. It may be a simple one. Or not, and you could see a grumpy cat or two at a time during the process, but in the end they will all fit well.
